Flynn and O’Hara is the only uniform company authorized to sell our school dress uniform. Uniforms purchased from any other vendor are unacceptable.
From the first day of school until the end of October and during April, May, and June, the students wear the following uniform.
Only solid white, short sleeved undershirts may be worn. Sneakers of any type are not allowed, except for PE. All shirts must be tucked in at all times and not bloused, except the girls’ grades 6-8 banded bottom style. Belts are required with shorts and slacks except for kindergarten.
GIRLS
K-5 Dress Plaid jumper (Length – no more than 1 inch above the knee)
Blouse White blouse with Peter Pan collar
Shorts Uniform navy blue walking shorts
Shirt White knit shirt with “Saint James” embroidered name
Socks Plain White or navy blue crew socks (ankles must be covered)
Shoes Dress type with closed heel, closed toe, low top below ankle, dark
brown, black, navy blue leather top with non-marking rubber soles
(Raised heels or platform styles are not permitted.)
Belt Dark brown, black, or navy blue (required with shorts)

WINTER UNIFORM
The winter uniform is required for all students and is to be worn from November 1 to March 31.

GIRLS AND BOYS - For all PE classes throughout the year
Shorts Red longer length gym shorts (The length of the gym shorts
should extend close to the knee. Short shorts or rolled shorts are not
acceptable.)
Shirt Red school Tee-shirt, tucked into shorts
Socks Plain White crew socks (ankles must be covered)
Sneakers Low cut white or black sneakers (with minimal decorations) with non-marking soles (no light-ups) – laces tied
November 1 – March 31 (may be extended depending on temperature)
Sweats Navy blue sweat pants and navy blue sweatshirt with Saint James logo are worn over the shorts and tee-shirt.
Points of Clarification
* The sleeves of student sweaters are not to be rolled up.
* Slacks and shorts are to be worn at the waist and fit properly. Boys’ trousers must reach the top of the shoe with a slight break. The length of boy’s slacks must not extend below the heel of the shoe.
* PE Sweatpants may not be stretched to cover the heel nor may they be tattered at the bottom.
